Hello and welcome to this week’s Northern Football Guide. Easter weekend means that this is a bumper edition with 90 games across the north being covered. The other problem has been the sheer number of highlights in the schedule! We are getting to the point in the season where issues of promotion and relegation will be solidified across the leagues this week. Manchester United Women will wrap up their inaugural season with the title if they can win their two home games this week. It has been a fantastic first season for the club and I for one am looking forward to the beginnings of their rivalry with Manchester City Women from next season. Meanwhile, Farsley and Atherton can also seal leagues titles before the end of the Easter holiday (Farsley have an Easter double on the cards if they can win the league cup tonight against Trafford). On the flip side, Bamber Bridge, Ashton United, Bradford City, Bolton, and Rotherham could all suffer relegation inside the next week. It is a time ...
