Weekly preview 26.02.19-04.03.19

Hello and welcome to this week's Northern Football Guide. After last week's League Cup final, England Women are in the USA for the SheBelieves Cup. As a result, the top two levels of women's football are not in action this weekend. I have tried to flesh out the rest of the schedule with U23 fixtures that may be of interest, not least an opportunity to visit Anfield for £3 on Monday. It is also worth noting that all Manchester United U23 games at Leigh Sports Village are free to enter We are approaching the final 10 games of the season across the divisions and there are a number of races going down to the wire. Not least in the Premier League where, according to the projections of  fivethirtyeight , we might well be in for another Aguerooooooo moment. Whatever happens in the coming three months, we are fortunate to have two such excellent teams in the north fighting it out for the title. Weekly Preview 19/02/19-24/02/19

Hello and welcome to this week’s Northern Football Guide. There is a lot going on this week with crunch games in nearly every league along with various cup competitions offering up a plethora of excitement. The highlight of the week must surely be the Women’s League Cup between Arsenal and Manchester City in Sheffield. Tickets are only £10 and it offers an excellent opportunity to hit two grounds in a day with Sheffield Wednesday, Sheffield FC and maybe even Chesterfield within striking distance assuming the game finishes in normal time. Burnley v Tottenham is another Saturday lunchtime fixture that could provide the first half of a groundhopping double with Accrington and Colne nearby if you so choose.
